My name is L. Elise Bland. I am originally from the Deep South, though I lived in Texas for many years. I have a Ph.D. During graduate school, I taught for 7 years, hence my fetish for teacher/student scenarios. Although I still work as a part-time translator, I have mostly left my academic life behind. But that doesn't mean you can't call me Doctor!
